Clear Information Creates Better Matches

Organizations should provide enough information for experienced professionals to make an informed decision about whether an opportunity aligns with their expertise and availability.

Opportunity Title - Use a clear title that reflects the actual work.

Organization or Client Information - Identify the organization when possible or explain when client confidentiality prevents disclosure.

Engagement Type - Consulting, contract, fractional, project-based, RFP/RFQ, subcontracting, etc.

Scope of Work - Describe the initiative, responsibilities, expected outcomes, and key deliverables.

Required Experience - Clearly distinguish required qualifications from preferred qualifications.

Engagement Duration - Provide the anticipated start date and length of engagement when known.

Time Commitment - Include anticipated weekly hours or level of effort when available.

Work Arrangement - Identify whether the engagement is remote, hybrid, or on-site and provide location requirements where applicable.

Compensation - We strongly encourage organizations to provide a compensation range, project budget, or other meaningful compensation information whenever possible.

Application Process - Explain how professionals should express interest and what information is required.

PROTECTING THE QUALITY OF THE COLLECTIVE

What Doesn’t Belong Here

Project Pro Collective is intended for legitimate professional opportunities. The following are not appropriate for the platform:

  • Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) or Network Marketing - Opportunities primarily based on recruiting others into a sales or distribution network.

  • Commission-Only Solicitations - Roles presented as project consulting opportunities when compensation depends entirely on sales or commission.

  • Pay-to-Apply Opportunities - Candidates should not be required to pay a fee simply to submit an application or be considered for an engagement.

  • Unpaid Consulting - Requests for substantial professional work, deliverables, assessments, strategies, or other consulting services without reasonable compensation.

  • Business Opportunity Schemes - Offers primarily designed to sell a franchise, membership, course, business package, investment, or other business opportunity to candidates.

  • Misleading Opportunities - Listings that misrepresent the organization, compensation, engagement structure, scope, or nature of the work.

  • Discriminatory or Unlawful Opportunities - An opportunity the violates applicable employment, contracting, anti-discrimination, or other laws.

  • Unrelated Solicitations - Sales pitches, advertising, lead-generation schemes, or opportunities unrelated to legitimate professional project work.

If an opportunity isn’t genuinely designed to engage experienced project expertise, it probably doesn’t belong on Project Pro Collective.

TRANSPARENCY MATTERS

Help Professionals Decide Whether There’s a Fit.

Compensation is an important part of evaluating any professional engagement. Providing meaningful compensation information helps organizations attract appropriate professionals and allows candidates to determine fit before investing time in the application process.

Project Pro Collective encourages organizations to provide an hourly rate range, fixed project budget, retainer range, salary range where applicable, or other clear description of compensation.

As the marketplace develops, Project Pro Collective may introduce additional compensation-disclosure requirements based on applicable law, marketplace standards, and feedback from our community.

A Professional Opportunity Should Have a Professional Process

Organizations using Project Pro Collective should create an application and selection process appropriate to the scope and value of the engagement.

Keep Applications Relevant

Request on the information genuinely needed to evaluate the professional at each stage.

Be Clear About the Process

Communicate anticipated interview steps, decision timelines, assessments, and other requirements when possible.

Don’t Ask for Free Consulting

Interviews and reasonable assessments may be appropriate. Requests for unpaid strategies, plans, analyses, deliverables, or client work are not.

MAINTAINING MARKETPLACE QUALITY

We Reserve the Right to Review Opportunities

Project Pro Collective may review submitted opportunities before or after publication. We may requests clarification or changes, decline a submission, suspend a listing, or remove an opportunity that appears inconsistent with these guidelines, our Terms of Use, applicable law, or the professional standards of the Collective.

Acceptance of an opportunity does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Project Pro Collective of an organization, engagement, or outcome.
