Project Pro Collective is a professional ecosystem designed to connect experienced project professionals with organizations seeking project expertise.
We're building a specialized marketplace for consulting, contract, fractional, project-based, RFP, and subcontracting opportunities along with a professional community, learning resources, events, mentorship, and other tools designed to support the project profession.
-
Not exactly.
Opportunities are an important part of Project Pro Collective, but our vision extends beyond traditional job postings. We're building a place where project professionals can discover opportunities, build relationships, develop their consulting careers and businesses, continue learning, and share their expertise.
For organizations, we're creating multiple ways to access experienced project talent from posting opportunities to finding consultants and, eventually, receiving more personalized talent support.
-
Project Pro Collective is being built for experienced professionals working across project delivery, including project and program managers, PMO professionals, implementation leaders, transformation and change professionals, Agile professionals, independent consultants, and other experienced professionals responsible for moving important initiatives forward.
We also serve organizations that need experienced project expertise, including nonprofits, associations, consulting firms, government contractors, businesses, healthcare organizations, technology companies, educational organizations, and other employers.
-
No. We recognize the value of professional certifications, but a PMP is not the only indicator of project expertise.
Depending on the opportunity, organizations may look for specific certifications, industry experience, technical expertise, leadership experience, or other qualifications. Individual opportunity requirements will vary.
-
No. You don't have to already be an independent consultant to be part of the Collective.
Project Pro Collective is also for experienced professionals exploring consulting, fractional or contract work; professionals building a consulting business alongside their career; and professionals interested in learning more about independent project work.
FOR PROJECT PROFESSIONALS
-
Our primary focus is project-based professional work rather than traditional full-time employment.
Opportunities may include consulting engagements, contract roles, fractional project or program leadership, implementation projects, PMO consulting, interim support, project recovery, transformation initiatives, RFP/RFQ opportunities, government and corporate subcontracting, and other project-based engagements.
The exact mix will continue to evolve based on the needs of our professional and employer communities.
-
Visit our Consultant Hub and select Join the Consultant Network. You'll be asked to share some basic information about your experience, specialties, industries, availability, and the types of opportunities that interest you.
As we build the marketplace, members of our founding network will receive updates about new opportunities, events, resources, and platform developments.
-
No. You may participate as an individual professional, through your consulting business, or be exploring independent consulting for the future.
Certain engagements may have specific business, insurance, contracting, or other requirements established by the organization offering the opportunity.
-
Our goal is to provide professionals with meaningful access to the Project Pro Collective opportunity network.
We may introduce optional premium services, resources, or membership benefits as the Collective grows, but those offerings are still being developed. Any pricing and included benefits will be clearly communicated before purchase.
-
No. Joining Project Pro Collective does not guarantee an engagement, interview, contract, or selection.
Organizations make their own hiring and contracting decisions based on their needs and the qualifications of the professionals they consider. Our role is to create better connections between experienced project professionals and organizations seeking their expertise.
-
Yes. Many experienced professionals explore consulting, fractional, contract, or project-based work while currently employed.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with any employment agreements, conflict-of-interest policies, outside-employment restrictions, or other obligations that may apply to you.
-
Project Pro Collective is being designed to support both individual consultants and experienced professionals who provide services through their own consulting businesses.
As the marketplace grows, we also expect opportunities for consulting firms and independent professionals to connect around subcontracting and teaming opportunities.
FOR ORGANIZATIONS
-
Project Pro Collective is designed for organizations across industries that need experienced project expertise.
That may include nonprofits, associations, consulting firms, government contractors, small and midsize businesses, corporations, technology companies, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, government organizations, and others.
-
Depending on your needs and available talent, you may find project managers, program managers, PMO leaders and consultants, implementation professionals, transformation consultants, change management professionals, Agile practitioners, project recovery specialists, and other experienced project professionals.
-
That's okay.
You may know the outcome you need without knowing whether you need a project manager, program manager, PMO consultant, implementation leader, or another type of professional.
Tell us about your initiative, challenges, timeline, and goals, and we'll use that information to better understand the type of project expertise that may be appropriate.
-
Yes. Project Pro Collective is being built to help organizations share legitimate consulting, contract, fractional, project-based, RFP, and subcontracting opportunities with experienced project professionals.
As we move through our early launch stages, organizations interested in posting an opportunity can join our employer network or contact us about an upcoming need.
-
That's part of where we're headed.
In addition to opportunity postings, Project Pro Collective is developing talent solutions that may include consultant discovery, curated candidate shortlists, managed matching, fractional project leadership, and project-team support.
If you have an immediate or upcoming need, contact us to discuss your project.
-
Pricing for employer services is being developed as we build and validate the marketplace.
Services may eventually include individual opportunity postings, employer packages, talent-search access, and more personalized matching services. Pricing and service details will be clearly provided before an organization makes a purchase or commitment.
OPPORTUNITIES, QUALITY & TRUST
-
Project Pro Collective is focused on legitimate professional engagements that require project, program, PMO, implementation, transformation, change, Agile, or related expertise.
Examples may include consulting engagements, fractional leadership, contract assignments, defined projects, interim support, RFP/RFQ opportunities, subcontracting opportunities, and other professional project work.
-
Yes. Maintaining the quality of the marketplace is important to us.
Project Pro Collective is not intended for MLM or network-marketing opportunities, commission-only solicitations, unpaid consulting engagements, business-opportunity schemes, or opportunities that require candidates to pay a fee simply to be considered.
Additional posting standards may be established as the marketplace grows.
-
We believe compensation transparency helps professionals and organizations determine fit earlier in the process and creates a better marketplace experience.
Compensation requirements and posting standards are being finalized as part of our marketplace development.
-
Consultant verification is part of our longer-term marketplace vision.
As the platform develops, verification may include professional credentials, experience, business information, or other qualifications relevant to particular engagements. Specific verification standards and processes will be communicated as they are introduced.
-
We're committed to building a marketplace centered around credible organizations and legitimate professional opportunities.
Our review and verification processes will continue to develop as the platform grows. Professionals should still conduct their own due diligence before entering into any engagement or contractual relationship.
BEYOND THE MARKETPLACE
-
Project Pro Academy is the learning and professional-development arm of Project Pro Collective.
It is being developed to provide practical courses, workshops, templates, toolkits, and resources for experienced project professionals—particularly those interested in consulting, fractional work, business development, pricing, proposals, RFPs, subcontracting, and building sustainable consulting businesses.
-
Yes. Community is an important part of the Project Pro Collective vision.
We plan to offer opportunities for project professionals to connect through networking events, virtual sessions, professional discussions, workshops, and other community experiences.
-
Yes. We're developing a mentorship experience designed specifically for experienced project professionals.
Mentorship may support professionals navigating consulting, leadership transitions, business growth, RFPs and contracting, PMO leadership, career changes, and other professional goals.
We also believe mentorship can be reciprocal—experienced professionals often have valuable expertise to share with one another.
